Cleaning the New Unit

Post by Renovator »

My friend went to a bike show and took a look at the New 1800 + . First thing that came to mind for him was looking at the "front" of the bike....and just how "open" the front was. Bugs-Bugs-Bugs !!! He said that it would be a nightmare to clean....unlike the 1500....which we "both" own. Much easier to clean for sure Im guessing. What do you think ?
Just my "thoughts" :?

I'm not sure it's that much more open than other Goldwings - looking straight on from the front, do you see a lot of nooks and crannies where bugs might enter or lodge?

When I stopped in and checked out the new Goldwing I thought this same thing. I don't know about the previous 1800's, never really looked at one but with the new bike you can reach your arm in really far, all the way to the back side of the radiators.
Winging it every chance I get 8-)

19,119 miles when I got it from dad Oct 15, 2017 --- 28,659 miles and counting as of Sep 11, 2020!
