Looks like they had a hard time trying to meld the looks of the fenders into the new style of the 2018...

The trike designed by CSC addresses an important issue: Honda reduced the fuel capacity of the 2018 Goldwing, claiming that weight reduction and aerodynamics would make up for the smaller tank. With a trike, those benefits are gone, leaving you with a heavier, and less aerodynamic vehicle, with a smaller fuel tank. So their trike includes an auxiliary fuel tank:
