Windshield options?

Post by Redwing822 »

Hello, newbie here, please pardon if this is a redundant topic.

Proud new owner of a 2018 F6B. Decided to keep the old 2007 VTX1300 when they told me it was next to worthless for a trade in.

Anyway, nearly bought a tour model but as stated have the trunk less model. A little disappointed that the F6B seems to have a smaller (lower) windshield than the tour. Just wondering if the windshield from the tour will work, or if the aftermarket has something available? I get it that they wanted to narrow down the profile a bit, but thinking they went a bit too far. Thanks for any suggestions..

tour model windshield will fit, but there are other options aftermarket.
FWIW, you don't have an f6b, you have a "goldwing" , that'll be important if you try to order parts-they dropped the f6b designation.

Take a look at Madstad. I don’t have one yet myself. When it comes time to replace my shield and possibly even sooner I’ll go with a Madtstad.
