I have the sequential front turn signals on my 2015. Similar circuitry, different location.

I like them very much. Look good, work well and good attention getter. I recommend them and by extension think these units for the 2018 would be a good addition.

BTW. I did a review on the Add-On brand sequential rear turn signals. Not worth the money.

I saw Cruisemans video of the install for these lights.Looks easy to install.I bought the harnesses that plug in under the seat,but the lights will not be available until sometime in August..according to the SoCalMotor gear website.
