Honda has released a software update that fixes a few problems:
The most up-to-date map information, for more accurate navigation
Updated Honda Dealership information and locations
For SiriusXM subscribers, more intuitive Traffic Flow and Traffic Reroute settings
Fix for bug in waypoint entry
You'll need a USB drive sized 16 GB or larger, and it takes about an hour to apply. It can be downloaded here:
https://powersports.honda.com/goldwing/ ... index.html
Apparently there will be a major new software update coming in May of this year that fixes a lot of bugs and adds some new features.

I did this update which never do I don't use the Navi on my bike. Had to do it twice it messes up all your other settings you will have to re pair all your blue tooth devises not sure if it was even worth the headaches. Ride Safe Ride A Lot.

Interesting. I only needed one pass, and only had to reset the XM presets. Guess I lucked out for a change...
I like pie.

Would anybody have a link to the new NAV update? For some reason I keep on getting an error when I click on the link from power sports.

Hmmm. Getting "404 - page not found" from *my* bookmarked link, the link at the top of this thread, and the link from Honda's GW site. Could mean Honda's about to release a new update, or it could mean there's a bug in the page. I'd give them a couple of days them to fix it.
I like pie.

Yup, it appears with the announcement yesterday of the 2021 Goldwing, all of the old pages have been removed from the Honda web site, so that link is broken.
You can see it in the Web Archive here however:
