Maybe this has come up already, but I couldn't find anything on it.
I have a 2018 Gold Wing Tour, and when I ride it on a sunny day, the silver ring around the control knob (or whatever you call it - the knob in the middle of the console that tilts and turns) reflects a silver ghost line in the windshield right at my viewing point. I can put my hand over the ring and the reflection goes away. Does anyone know how to pop off that ring? I'm thinking about painting it flat black, and that would be easier with it removed.
Thanks!

Re: Annoying reflection
On my 2002 gl1800, there was chrome on it all over the place, the previous owner had a thing for chrome.
I took it all off and put it in File 13.....
in your case, a Flat Black paint would be the best thing to do.

Re: Annoying reflection
I had the same problem on my Royal star Venture, the chrome gas cap caused a huge reflection problem. The solution was the leather cover for the cap. Not sure if something like that would be available or work in this situation. I have not noticed that on my 2020 DCT tour, but, I havent ridden it much in the sun yet, too much rain and when I have ridden, its been overcast or only partly sunny.
Let me know your solution if you find one.

Re: Annoying reflection
Interesting idea. I have some thick leather laying around here somewhere, so maybe I can cut out a circular piece, and make a hole in the middle for the control knob to stick through, and set it down over the ring. I'll let you know if it works - thanks for the suggestion.
