Passenger pegs?

Post by bindernewb »

This may be a slightly controversial topic, but the question needs to be asked. I have a 7 year old son who loves motorcycles, he’s been riding his CR50f since he was 5 (mostly with large amounts of discomfort on his mother’s part). He’s been bugging me to go for a ride on the Wing for awhile now. The problem lies in the fact that he can’t legally ride with me yet because he can’t reach the passenger boards. I’ve researched the laws here in Texas and since he’s over 5 years old and has a DOT legal helmet, the only thing left is his ability to reach the pegs. So the question is has anybody seen or heard of an adjustable or higher passenger peg for the 2018+ Wings or should I just tell him to grow his legs out? Thanks for the input.

Both Kuryakyn and either Show Chrome or Add On have replacement rear boards for GL1800s, but I do not know if they are for your year. Kuryakyn makes a floorboard for the rear called the Transformer, that has integral foot pegs that fold up to sit above the floorboard, and the other has an adjustable bracket so the floorboards can be adjusted up or down.

and some add on footpegs that may do it for you

And replacement adjusters from Rivco
