Passenger foot board
Hi everyone, we're looking to buy a 2005 gl1800 trike, that being said, my wife has shorter legs and cant comfortably reach the passenger foot boards. We had a gl1500 se and the adjustable boards were perfect, are there any options out there to raise the boards 2-3 inches?

Yes. Kuryakyn has Transformer Boards, that have a built in foot peg that can be lifted into place which then provides two foot level heights and positions for the passenger. Also, Show Chrome has an adjustable up down footboard mount that you can set the height to where you want it within a range of about 3 to 4 inches.

I just went on the Show Chrome web site, I didn't see the mounts. Someone said the GL1500 adjustable boards will fit the GL1800, any thoughts?

Found this Rivco product. It looks like it would do the job as well.

And yes, I believe the sliding rail from Showchrome did use your existing boards. However, a quick search with Cyclemax did not reveal this product any longer so perhaps it is discontinued. They did have a passenger peg mount in the GL1800 grips and pegs section. They are described in this thread.

I did find these from Add On though.

Yep, those look exactly like what I'm looking for. May have to make my own, just won't be chrome. I think we decided to buy the trike last night, more money than I cared to spend but it should last me a long time. As soon as I figure out how to load a picture of it I'll put one up.
