My 2019 Airbag DCT Tour iPhones location & connection is in the rear top box.
Upon connection and placing the phone in the rubber straps vertically I noted that the cable locates precariously close to the top box lid so I went out and bought one of those magnet attaching cables that can swivel at 360 degrees.
So here’s the question, to connect to Apple Car Play on the Goldwing does any data transfer via the Lightning cable or does it just charge the phone?
I know from viewing several You Tube review videos that the Apple Car Play can be temperamental and I have had it working via a Lightining cable but yesterday I tried the magnetic cable which charged the phone but no way would Apple Car play?
