I'm really fed up with this update. I bought an apple phone to hook up to my 2019 Honda Goldwing 6 speed tour before july update. I bought a plantronics 5200 bluetooth device just to hook up so apple car play would work. It worked perfect and no problems. I found out about Android auto update and went back to Andriod. I downloaded the update and added it to my bike, it loaded no problem. when I hook up my Android to bike the AA comes on and off. The audio through bike speakers sounds crappy when it works for a short while. I tried another cable and it would work for a while and start to cut on and off again. The audio (music) still sounds very low and not to great. I bought a 3.0 cable and plugged in phone after bluetooth started up and boom it was working and my music sounded awesome. i was in my garage when i tried it. I started to adjust settings on my GPS and all of a sudden the music sounded low and crappy again. The AA started to act up and cut on and off again. This is very frustrating and I really need to get to the bottom of this. My old apple I pod works well and music sounds great. The I pod is hooked up to the USB cable I installed in the left saddle bag when I bought the bike last year. I really would like to have google maps wayz and my music through my new Android S20 plus. When it starts back up the music sounds good then it cuts off and on and starts to sound like crap again and again.
I'm hoping some one here can help me through this miserable situation.....

It could be a bluetooth problem with your headset.

Re: July 2020 software update fail, PLEASE HELP!!!
Can anybody help me out.I tried to download the Android update also..I was on the Honda Powersports website..I downloaded the update..I was using a 32gb jump drive. When I try to send the file from my computer to the jump drive it says file too large?...Any ideas?..I checked out the jump drive and it's working.
Re: July 2020 software update fail, PLEASE HELP!!!
Your jump drive should be formatted in NTFS. Maybe that's your problem.

I am having the same issue as yourself. Downloaded to a thumb drive successfully. Now the bike (2018 Tour 6 Speed) does not recognize the thumb drive, the update....nothing. I’ll let you know if I figure it out. I’m going to try some different things.

It would be nice to get some info from Honda,or even my dealer..They didn't have a clue what models it would work on..My bike is a "B" model bagger,so maybe it will not work on this model.
