Re: Oil
I will mix it up for you.
I use Rotella T6 full Synthetic in 5w40
great all around, all season oil, and shifts like a dream.
Many of my friends have followed up on what I am using, and agree with me.
My little scooter is spec'd by the factory to use only Full Synthetic, so the same oil goes in it too.

Re: Oil
Owners manual says 10w-30.
You will get answers ranging from 5w-30, 10w-30, 5w-40, 10w-40, to 15w-40 (and maybe even a 20w-50).
Synthetic, conventional, JASO MS only, HDEO, and a host of other things.
If you use what the manual says and change it regularly, it really does not matter so long as it is an oil with no friction modifiers.
Use whatever you want though.API Service Classification SG or higher except oils labeled as energy conserving or resource conserving on the circular API service label, SAE 10W-30, JASO T 903 standard MA, Pro Honda GN4 4-stroke oil (USA & Canada) or Honda 4-stroke oil, or an equivalent motorcycle oil

Re: Oil
Im ready for my first oil change in my 2020.
So I guess Rotella T6 will work just fine with the DTC trannies??
I would not want to hurt it in anyway.
Honda oil is priced through the roof at almost $15 a litre here in Canada. And its not even synthetic.

Re: Oil
T6 will be just fine for it.
Choose the weight you feel best with, as mentioned, I like 5w40 so that the internals get oil fast, and there is a minimum of friction at startup...
more important in colder climes.
