I have a 2019 DCT 1800 Tour with the Roadsmith conversion. I bought the pegs and installed them thinking they would fit. According to the site I bought them off of it said I just had to contact Roadsmith.
Well they installed easy enough but you cannot connect the front of the conversion floorboards back to the frame of the bike.
Roadsmith is useless for any help, they do not return calls or emails(I'll never buy another one of there conversions because of this) I was just wondering if anyone else discovered a work around or made a part to connect them?

Re: Goldstrike Highway Pegs
Welcome to the forum. I see this was your 1st post.
Did you get it figured out on the compatibility? It's been a few weeks since you posted.... And no reply. Forums work to help each other out and you are working on a new model wing with a trike kit that is a limited area of use.
I have installed trike kits and serviced trikes, but not a Roadsmith kit as they are not in compliance with California though I've heard they make a good trike kit. Most trike companies do not take into consideration added accessory installments because of the multitude of available differences.
As to your situation, looking at the web pictures of Roadsmith aqua shields and that you didn't state which goldstrike pegs nor added any pictures, so we don't know what pegs you actually got other than the brand name, if you got the goldstrike pegs that mount under the heads, that is the wrong type pegs to get, because of clearance issues you have run into to the aqua shields. You might be able to use them but you would have to cut and grind the aqua shields to go around the undermount pegs.
You have to be creative when trying to add accessories that were designed to go on a stock bike, when factoring in trike kits or find accessories that mount differently that clear the area the trike body takes up before purchasing said accessories. I've run into this with other trike companies adding passenger backrest where there was no allowance to add anything. It's a pia as neither the trike companies nor the accessory companies take responsibility for fitment other than a stock bike without a trike kit.

These are the ones I ordered. I had talked to another couple who had the same year bike an d trike kit and they told me they worked just fine on there bike and sent me pics of them on it, but no close ups. So I ordered them, they do fit but not with the Aqua shield bracket on the bike also.

Re: Goldstrike Highway Pegs
So the aqua shield brackets mount to the same location as the pegs? If so maybe make some bracket extenders to the shields????

(((Well this maybe a waste of time since the OP has not been heard of since: Last active: Thu Nov 19, 2020 9:00 pm))) Do hope you find a fix.....usually there are always work arounds you or some professional people in MC custom work will get you where you wanna be....just depends on the worth of the effort. I love the GS Highway pegs on my 2018 DCT Tour and will be getting it triked in April CSC California Side Car and have already spoke with the Tech at their facility and they have a bracket that allows fitment with their kit. Oh, OK understand. But don't throw the white flag up once you hook up with the right person with customization skills in the MC industry it will work...just requires some phone calls or drive to the shop for consultation. JMHO
