I ride with the Sena 20s on my 2000 gl1500se. Perfect like setting at home, when I am on a phone call.
My 2021 goldwing bagger it's crap people can't hear me lots of static like talking in a box. So bad I don't even answer anymore.
I believe it's cause I'm going through the audio system on the goldwing. Any advice? Dose anyone else have this problem with the 18+

Re: Phone connection
I also have a 20S bluetoothed to both my phone and the audio system with Apple Car Play. I have used the phone and no static. I have an issue with matching the audio and phone volume levels but thats it. I have not used the phone without the Apple Car Play app but I will give it a try and reply.

Have you had to adjust mic setting on your bike?

Re: Phone connection
On my 2019, when I had the phone plugged in to the bike and using Car Play, I had the same issue. Turning off the Bluetooth on the phone solved the problem.

Re: Phone connection
I have not had to adjust the mic setting.
However, I tested the phone today both with and without Carplay. When Carplay was active, there was a slight hiss on the receiving end but none whatsoever on my end. When going through the bike, there was a slight hiss on my end but not the receiving end. In both cases the hiss was not objectionable but it was noticeable.
Just tried it with the phones bluetooth off. Same background hiss but not objectionable.
