About a year ago, I posted about how Honda had filed patents showing radar-guided adaptive cruise control for the GL1800.

Honda has now filed patents for built-in cameras for the Goldwing:

The idea is to bury the cameras inside the headlight, to make them as unobtrusive as possible:

The way they plan to do this is to have a "wall" in between the camera and the LED "bulb" to block light from the LED from interfering with the camera image:

It's not clear if this is intended to be in addition to radar, or (like Subaru does with its cars, using stereo cameras to provide depth perception to the computer) an alternative to on-board radar:
