Re: Homelink
I was on the back order list from Wingstsuff and got an email last week while I was at work that they had come in. I tried to order when I got off work but they hadn’t reserved any for me and were out. I then checked around and found that Partzilla had them and ordered one on 3/23/2022. It is supposed to arrive in the next few days. However, I am now concerned because when I checked back to see if Partzilla had an installation video I saw that the Homelink was indicated for the 2018 and 2019 model. Does anyone know if there is a different Homelink for the 2021 model which is what I have?

Re: Homelink
Ok, just got off the phone with Partzilla. They said the Homelink was back ordered with them also even though that’s not what their website had indicated. They went ahead and cancelled the order because it did not have an ETA. The tech I talked to said that it would fit the 2021 as well if and when they get them in. Unlike Wingstuff, they don’t have a waiting list and won’t call/email you when it comes in. So its back to the waiting game for me as well. I have my flash to pass from my 2009 wing that I removed when I traded it in. I posted the question on a couple of face book sites asking if there was a way to use it on the 2021. I had one reply that said it should be able to work but no one offered any advice as to how to install it. I would be very greatful of any suggestions.

Re: Homelink
Mine was order by my Honda Powersport dealership same day I bought my 2021 GW, which was in September last year. It arrived about two weeks ago. Because it was ordered so long ago, Honda put it on "critical delivery" which I guess put me towards the top of the list for shipment.

I use Home Assistant instead. The door opens as I get within WiFi range, then closes when I shut off the bike. Opens when I start it, and closes as I ride out of range. Also triggers lights and sets the alarm among other things.

If you have a Wi-Fi enabled Genie opener, and use their app, you can open or close the garage door with voice controls. I just ask Siri to open or close the door.
