2024 WING

Post by GoldWingrGreg »

For the 2024 GW, this video promises a lot. A 2000cc with better wind protection , larger saddlebags, rear camera, a suspension upgrade, and the list goes on.

That's a scam clickbait video. There are tons of bogus channels like that on YouTube. They use footage of older bikes (usually from trade shows), along with a text-to-speech engine (not a real human) reading off a bunch of made up information about the new upcoming bike.

Honda is amongst the most secretive of companies, and for the most part, nobody knows what the 2024 Goldwing will have until it's announced. Certainly not random, anonymous YouTube channels posting clickbait made-up "scoops" about upcoming products.

I know ... today things are so confusing. The male model used to be woman wanting to become a man, and the woman, used to be a man, that is now a woman now wanting to be a lesbian !!! And the guy on the left is in transition of trying to decide !!!

There may not even be a '24 model...Honda has the Wing on the "discontinue" model list...

A lot of the 2024s are out, but not the GoldWing. Maybe they will just keep selling 2023s like they are doing with the 2022 Africa Twin?
Last year they announced in late September for release in November.

Reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.

I didn't see anything there about the Wing's future. I was going off of Scott's YT video where he says the GW is on the discontinue model list...

Nothing wrong with my 2016 and only just over 51k miles so far, but this was starting to get me thinking of a new one for 2025 when I turn 60. Bummer about being just clickbait.

FYI ... some of my customers have bought 6th gens, and were intending to sell their 5th gens, but ended up keeping them both. They discovered when riding 2-up, that the 6th gen is to cramped, and not comfortable enough for long distance touring. For some the 6th gen is a great solo touring maching, and an awesome lunch runner for 2 people, but not so good for 2-up long distance rides.
