2018 after market seat
I am looking for the best after market seat for my 2018 GL.the factory seat is brutal.Any suggestion.

We all have our own best. I have tried several brands but have been most satisfied with Ultimate brand.

I swapped out the factory seat with an Ultimate Seat right after our first ride on the 2020. I didn't have a big problem with the factory seat, but my wife didn't like the passenger seat at all. I thought she was just complaining thinking it was very firm being new until I sat back there. It is quite crowned and she was used to sitting more in the seat (her throne, she calls it) on our 2008. The Ultimate Seat is very comfortable. We've had it installed for almost 3 years and 12,000 miles and it's still like "new". And since we're still married after 33 years of riding, I'd say I made the right move.
I would recommend the Ultimate Seat to anyone.

If you google, you'll probaly find 6 main manufactures the make custom seats for 5th and 6th gen Wings.
Most custom seats, are the result of a custom seat manufacture, using their same generic seat for everyone. In most cases, "custom seats" also set the rider's position 1" lower, 1" and back. What makes them "custom" is that the buyer chooses the material that the seat is covered with, and color, and the stitch pattern.
If your looking for the above, and one that is custom to your body, regarding your ride position, your body shape, your weight, your body type, and your leg length, and if needed for the passenger too, the only manufacture that I know of that does that, for a GW, is Russel Day Long.
