Hello,I just recently brought a brand new 2024 DCT Goldwing.This is my first new motorcycle.I was told to do a 1,000 miles and then bring it to a dealer for the first service my question is what is done on your first service?

You should be able to find that in the owner's manual.

Depends on the region of your GW, so yes, check your manual.
US manual specifies first maintenance at 4.000 miles. (and then every 4.000 miles)
Europe (not sure about other regions?) specifies first maintenance at 1000 km (and then every 12.000 km).
My 1.000km maintenance was to replace oil, oil filter and DCT oil filter.

Yes, follow what the manual says to keep the warranty. You do NOT need to go to the dealer for service - unless they are doing it without charge as part of purchase price. Just document it.
