"blue light" ring surrounding the "ENTER" knob
I have a 2018 Honda Goldwing Tour DCT with nearly 24,000 miles. The "blue light" ring around the "ENTER" knob has been partially dim on the right side of the ENTER knob for some time now. But, as of yesterday, the entire blue lighting beneath the ring surrounding the ENTER knob has gone dark. I have the official Honda Service Manual, but I wasn't able to find any reference to my situation. This is not detrimental to riding, but just knowing and seeing the blue ring has gone dark is a disappointment. Can this "blue light" ring be serviced? Also, has anyone done the 24,000-mileage valve clearance inspection/adjustment? I may have the dealer do this recommended maintenance item, even though I've been able to do other regular maintenance with the help of "maintenance videos."

Honda only sells the entire assembly for close to $1000 35400-MKC-A01
You might be the first person with this issue. I would guess that this is something repairable, but might be very tricky to disassemble. Modern assembly methods often include things like adhesives and heat staking that require special techniques to get apart nondestructively. Check YouTube for how things like phones and laptops are serviced.
I would guess that you have lost some LEDs or their drivers. Since you lost them in sequence, a little reverse engineering might be required as whatever drives the LEDs may be bad. The driver could be nothing more than a current limiting resistor, or something more complex. Replacing the LEDs should not be too difficult, but I would guess they are SMD so you might need a hot air station. If the electronics are outside your comfort zone, I know a few places that could do that work if you just remove the switch assembly and send it to them.

Sorry ... I've not had one apart to see what's required to fix them. I too see that it's sold as an assembly and intended to be "non-servicable." I looked on eBay for a used one, and no luck there. If somehow you do get it repaired, please keep this post updated.
