Aftermarket Questions for 79 project?

Hello everybody,
Let me start by saying how much I enjoy this site. I am new here and to the Goldwing family so I have many questions. My main one starts with this (I also searched the site for answers). I suppose everyone is familiar with the Black/Yellow Supercharged GL? Well I need help with tire, wheel and front end questions. What needs to be done to achieve the bobber look that this one has with the wheels? Sorry if me question seems a bit scatterbrained, just so much excitement for this project. here is the one I have to work with
