As you will see in my picture, I am pointing at a screw. Well I was tightening that screw and then BAM it broke. Well not really BAM but it snapped.
How in the hell do I get a broken screw out?
I am not sure if it broke at the head or the thread. Any tips would be very helpful!
Thanks!

Re: Broke a screw
Start by removing the other bolts, and remove the cover. At that point, you'll know if you have enough to grab with pliers, or if you'll have to drill it out. I grind any exposed end off smooth, then center punch and drill a small hole in the bolt. 1/8" is enough to get an extractor into it. If you mess it up and go too big, there's always helicoils.

And remember. Those bolts have a shoulder on them you can't put much torque on them. When they bottom out that's it, just snug them up. But you know this now, don't you?
