Has anyone disabled the air cut valve?

Has anyone disabled the air cut valve?
On a GL1000? Seems it could be plugged one way or another and tuned to run without it, has anyone done it?

Not me.When mine seized up it would pop on decelleration.

It is there for just that reason. To prevent backfire on decel. I don't think you could tune around it.
