Paint

Started some paintwork. I have a few pieces pretty much done. I am a bit disgusted with dust particals and dog hair but it is what it is. Here is a pic of my once burgundy side cover.

I decided to eliminate the oil pressure gauge because it was pretty scorched. The heat cracked the glass on my fuel guage too. This cover is from my parts bike. I will be using the fuel gauge from this one!

what kind of paint did you use on the false tank? metal or plastic paint? Did you sand down to bare metal or just a light sand?

Looking good and a lot of work.
