Hi all,
Anyone built a sissybar or brackets for GL1000. My better half would like a more easy ride. Or perhaps are brackets/sissybar for sale somewere?
The otherday I started the bitch, yes the GL has earned that name..... now it runs like hell!!!!
Drive with care / Charles

You'll not find a new aftermarket sissy bar or back rest for a vintage GL as no one produces accessory items of this nature for bikes this old. However, you might find something on eBay. Along with a sissy bar, you might want to consider a rear rack/trunk combo that has padding for the rider which could also be found on eBay. Something along the lines of this.

Thanks, I have been searching e-bay and found some different solutions and new saddelbags..... allways something you "need"
I looked in the forum and found some interesting solutions as well so I thing that I have to make my own backrest/sissy. When done there will be pics.
