New here folks. (found the site today) I have a 1977 GL1000 that was with a "buddy" while I was away for awhile for him to fix.
I got back and he pulled the ignition switch apart and doesn't remember which wire goes where.
I looked at the wiring diagram and think I got it, but I want to be sure so I dont fry my bike.
It has a 6 wire connecter on it but only uses 5 wires, I want to make sure its got the correct wires in the right spots.
As you look at the ignintion switch where it plugs in to the harness. I have 3 wires on top and 2 on the bottom, can someone tell me for sure which wire goes where?
I cant take any pictures toningt but can upload tomorrow if needed.
Thanks for any and all help.

Re: 1977 GL1000 Ignition Wiring
There is a wiring diagram for the bike in the manuals section that covers the color code and function.
