78wing left side heats up?
my 78 gl has 29k/ mi ,new starter/stator/clutch/waterpump/timing belts. original points.when i start bike the left side gets hotter faster than the right side .once bike gets up to temp.both sides seem to feel the same.have not used any temp gauges other than my hands. bike is not overheating .when i changed waterpump i flushed engine, so clogging should not be an issue. timing is also correct. bike runs fine . any reason for this situation?

I would check the idle settings. A leaner idle setting on one side can cause this. Carb sync could be an issue. Vacuum leaks will cause a lean condition also.
