GL and CB Gauges...

Are they different? I can't imagine Honda making special gauges for different bikes of the same year... The reason I ask.. I'm looking at these gauge covers that are listed as for a CB750. When I inquired to the seller if they would fit a GL1000 they said they would not. I'm wondering if they are just trying to cover their butts?

I bet they fit, but there might be an issue with the speed marks being the same. GL's had higher gauge top speed that of course was meaningless as they did not even go that fast downhill. I think actual limit is around 120.

These are just covers that fit over the top of your gauges to make them look new..

Those same covers specifically for the gl is sold by Saber Cycle. You probably won't have a problem with (Saber Cycle) or this fitting because of the type of item it is. Just saying!

That looks great. I love the white gauges also. Beats the green on my 76 any day. I have often wondered why Honda went with green.

They still glow green at night except the white background is illuminated rather than the numbers. Looks very cool.
