Baffle on 77.
Hey, looking at removing the baffles the of my 77. Wondering if this will impact the carbs enough for the need to re-jet? It's way too quiet for my blood so, wondering if people could help me on info. Thanks agead of time

Re: Baffle on 77.
the short answer is no. but then. it wont make it that much louder. even removing the original horseshoe and fitting mufflers dont seem to require rejetting. most quote randakk on this, who says these engines are very easy to change the exhausts with no problems. but dont fiddle with the carb set up. ( but then. a fella who sells carb kits would say that ... )

Exhaust mods won't effect the carbs on these old girls.

Re: Baffle on 77.
Awesome! Thank you much. I really like the look of these old exhausts and didn't want to change them, just make them louder. I'll remove them and see what happens. I'll let ya know how it goes! And thank you for the info. I saw some posts from past regarding them but couldn't find a definitive answer so, thought I'd ask. I'll post up my procedure. If it works!
