Hey all I have a 78 gl1000 and am in the process of painting it. I would like to take the vetter trim off and replace with just black. Has anyone done this or is the silver trim the only thing you can get. If there is something else what is it and where can I buy it?

But I have never seen either black trim nor anyone remove it and replace it with anything else.
