oil grade

hi ive just purchased a 1975 gl1000 goldwing what oil grade should i use i live in ireland so we have a mixed climate also what is the correct gap for the spark plugs thank you

I found this post under the How-to-Articles in this forum:
GL1000 (all years): 0.6 to 0.7 mm (0.024 to 0.028 inches)

As for oil weight, I don't know on your GL, I am sure someone will add to this post and let you know.
