First thing that comes to mind is a vacuum leak. Search with an unlit propane torch. Spraying around the carb intake and body. Some folks us wd-40 or carb cleaner but I don't like the mess it makes. If there is a leak the rpms will rise.

Sounds like ignition to me.
I'd replace all the caps - the wires on an 1000 are not replaceable without splicing, i think? Or replace with 1100 coils, wires and caps. Bikes with 35 year old wires could probably use new, right? You can get 7mm non-resister wire from NAPA - like for forklifts. I think the also sell the resister caps, or online. New plugs while you're at it, then you're "all good". Even if that's not the issue at the moment, it's worth having new stuff where it matters.

did colourtune test with sparkplug and it fire constant but i can see trough the glass that there is constant explosions and spark and the sudenly there there is spark but no explotion of fuel mix.could this be a valve that gets stuck.like i said bike idles fine only when i keep it on 2000rpm its pops
