Replacing Front Brake Pads
I am replacing the front brake pads on my 75 gl1000 (already rebuilt the calipers) and I am putting everything back together, but the brake pads don't seem to be staying in place.are they supposed to just sit in their position on the caliper? there are no pins to hold them. Forgive me if this is a stupid question, this is my first gl1000, and first time working on anything other than drum brakes.

They just sit there, no pins. The "H" shaped spring underneath and the "ears" on 'em help hold them in place.

Once assembled to the rotor, they stay.

I never have and have never had any issues.
