GL1000 1978 Clutch cable
GL1000 1978 Clutch cable
Is there anyone out there that can maybe help me with some tricks to replace my complete cable. I'd Rather not pull the motor, but I cant get my hands up into where i need to remove the 2 10mm bolts to get into the clutch housing. to connect that end of the cable

It's nothing special. Just reach under the u-joint boot from the right side of the bike and you can feel them. A ratcheting box end wrench will make it quicker job. If the rear tire's off the bike you will have a wide open shot at 'em, but like I said, just reach under the boot and there they are. If you still can't get to them, you can pull the battery and go in from the left side.
