I have a 79 GL1000 someone put a carb of what looks like one from an early 80's GL1100. The line that would have went to the air cutoff valve on the GL1000 carb has nowhere to go on the GL1100 carb. Can I just plug it off. I have the original carb but it's all froze up. I trying to piece this bike back together.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Carb vacuum line
The line that goes to the air cut valve on the 1000 carbs comes from the #1 carb. My 1100 has a 1000 motor in it so I'm not really familiar with 1100 carbs but I'm thinking you're talking about the line from the carbs to the 1100's vac advance. If so, I'd just cap it.

Thank you I was going to do that but thought I'd seek out some advice first. I am going to try rebuilding the original carbs later on.
