Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my Honda GL1000, since I rehabilitated the carburettors the idle is at 4000tours per minutes and it is impossible for me to lower it.
Does anyone have any ideas?
I also search the method Randakks in video for the rehabilitation of these carburetors, If someone wishes to share it with me ??
Thank you.

Re: Carburateur GL1000
After rebuilding, have you synchronized the carburetors? Possible binding of the mechanical linkages. Throttle cables binding. Choke hanging up. Carburetor slides hanging up (binding) and not returning to idle position.............

When you bench synch, you must set the number three carb almost closed. I set it so I can see part of one of the three holes in the bottom of the outlet near the throttle plate. Then use your synch adjustments to duplicate it as close as you can. If you don't have three closed the synch arms can hold it and thus the rest too far open.
After that it is usually an air leak somewhere. Rubber boots tight? Cut o-rings?
If all check good, then look at your synchronizer screws, springs washers. There's a right and wrong way to assemble them.
Lastly sometimes the synchronizer arms/pads get bent in disassembly.
