Howdy folks,
I want to hook up a "cigarette lighter" type adapter for my cell phone and noticed an ACC box on the electrical schematic. Where on the bike is this creature located? Is there anything I should know about wiring the adapter to the ACC box?
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks.

All the fuse boxes I've seen on GL1000's do not have an ACC terminal and fuse. As far as I know, that started with the GL1100's. Check out your fuse block, if there is one there named "ACC" then you should have a couple screw terminals that you can hook up to.ELC wrote:Howdy folks,

Otherwise you'll have to run a fused line to another circuit, or to the battery if you don't care that it doesn't get switched on and off. If you do that, make sure the fuse is as close to the battery as possible.

I popped open the fuse box and saw fuse labeled "ACC". It appears that there is space under the fuse holders and that the level embedding the fuses can come off but I didn't want to force it off with a screwdriver. Any thoughts?

There's a accessory box on under the left side false tank shelter.ELC wrote:I popped open the fuse box and saw fuse labeled "ACC".
