Has anyone made they're own kick starter?
Does anyone have specific drawings or pictures to be able to create one from scratch?
My bike didn't come with one and I would like to have one but don't want to pay the asking price on ebay when I can easily make one.

Re: Kick Starter
Making one yourself would involve reproducing the spline. I run a wire EDM shop and doing that wouldn't be cheap. How mugh can you buy one for?

I don't have that bike. I was just guessing there would be a spline that the kick starter would engage. Kinda like the spline that the brake pedal slides onto.

Re: Kick Starter
There likely are splines on the part that the kick lever slides into but not on the lever itself.
It looks like it would be fairly straight-forward to make one out of drill rod as I have 30 years experience in metal shaping/forging/heat treating but having an accurate drawing and measurements or pics to scale would be a benefit.

Re: Kick Starter
I see several on ebay starting at 59.99 shipped. That one looks a little scuzzy, for another $15 or so you can get a nice one with the holding strap, etc...
