Top picture looks like it could be a turn signal flasher.Shammon wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2017 7:13 pm Hi,

Is it located in the left side false tank?
I can't read the writing on the EI as the picture isn't that great.

Re: Help to Id this part and Electtronic ignition
I have a set of instructions for the Newtronic Electronic Ignition, but the instructions are available online: Google Newtronic Ignition, find product CKT-H03 and the instructions are available to download at the bottom of the product listing. The item you are holding looks like the 7v regulator for the Fuel/Temp gauges, judging by the wire colours.Shammon wrote: ↑Mon Aug 21, 2017 7:13 pm Hi,

Many thanks for the quick support.
Yip look like the 7V regulator the wire path looks different but wires correct.
Found the link code number was helpful.

Re: Help to Id this part and Electtronic ignition
I don't know if this is helpful or not, but I had that very same Newtronic ignition fitted to my '75 GL1000 and I ended up removing it because it kept failing when the engine was hot, in so far as two cylinders (1 coil) would stop firing. It was a new unit but the company couldn't replicate the fault, so I pulled it out and went back to points and condenser!
