Aftermarket Hi/Lo switch wiring
I bought an aftermarket bar switch set for my '82 GL1100. The bike is a naked version at this point. When I got the switch, it became obvious I'd have to do some splicing as the connector is different than the original. What I need some help with is there is a yellow wire with a single connector coming from the switch. I have no idea what this should be connected to at all.

There's no telling what the aftermarket wire colors indicate - if it's not documented, you'll have to get a multimeter on it and figure out what gets switched to what when the switch is manipulated.aingeal89c wrote: ↑Mon Oct 09, 2017 7:04 pm I bought an aftermarket bar switch set for my '82 GL1100. The switches came with no paperwork.
