Hello, I am cleaning a set of Gl1000 carbs, I am. On two carbs I can clean out the feed chamber from the plenum passage. On 1 and 3 I can run the piano wire to the seat from the plenum. In 2 and 4 I can’t.
Does 2 and 4 have the passage or is it blind or not cast?
Thanks

Or if I’m blowing them out what’s the exit.

I would have to pull out either the a Randakks video or Mike Dixons book to be sure, but seems to me the carbs should be the same for each side. The piano wire seems like the right tool.

Thanks I’m afraid of that. I spoke with a little PB then hit with air.. maybe a few bubbles.
Just wanting nail down before I pull the trigger on buying replacements or a full rack.
The carbs get their fuel from the plenum, rather than the 1100 that shares it in the x transfer tubes.
Maybe a randakk book is in my near future.
