Post by gfrench5@hotmail.com » Sat Dec 09, 2017 7:57 am

Hi guys' Thanks much for previous post on carb issues. Now time for water pump replacement, I'm going with a Honda new one but would like to know where most of you source the gasket kit from with all the rings etc.? Also due you guys have a preference on a wheel bearing supplier?
Merry Christmas and all the Best in the New Year. Cheers to all, Glen French

The full kits of ebay seem to be OK..ones' in a red colored pack teh other is green.....I have a kit for sale too..$25 plus shipping..you also might want to consider replacing all the bolts with allen head bolts..a guy on the ngwclub site sells a kit for that.

allball bearings is what most go to.
HAD LOTS OF GOLDWING 75-83
NOW INTO 1500'S..RIDING A 1998 SE

FAIR WINDS,

^+1 on the Allen bolt replacements for the Phillips head screws. You will need an impact screw driver to remove them after giving the heads a good whack with a straight punch to break them loose. Take caution for they are soft and strip easily.
