Torque Specs

Post by swr1977 » Thu Mar 15, 2018 1:34 am

Can anyone tell me what to torque the intake and exhaust manifold bolts to? I can NOT find these specs in ether manual anywhere. Also what do I torque the cam belt cover / heat shield bolts to? Page 5-21 it shows a picture doesn't give the specs!

The Exhaust manifold nuts torque value range is 11-14 foot lbs. The cam covers and the timing belt covers have special bolts that restrict you from over tightening. Be careful when tightening them and stop as soon as you feel them hit the stop. If you turn it past this stop, it will break the bolt.
