Overheating

Post by Technomage112 » Wed Dec 05, 2018 9:31 pm

I'm having an issue with overheating when it's just setting there idling it stays cool but when I drive at speed it starts to overheat was thinking it was the water pump but I was trying to make sure there's anything else I should be looking for

Maybe a blocked radiator, bad radiator cap, lack of coolant, no thermostat, stuck thermostat, cracked head gasket check those things out first.

Define over heating. How high does the needle rise on the gauge? Is the fan coming on when this overheating occurs?
