I’m working on a 1977 Gl1000. The square O-ring under the clutch adjust cover came out in several pieces. I can’t find a part number for this anywhere. Can anyone help with this ? Is an O-ring suitable? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Clutch adjust cover Gasket / O ring
I see what you mean, the o-ring doesn't seem to be in the parts catalog, at least not where you would expect. An o-ring of the same approximate size should do fine, it doesn't have to hold oil in just keep dirt and water out.

I designed one and printed it with my 3D printer. I used a TPU filament and it worked just like the original.

Re: Clutch adjust cover Gasket / O ring
That Partzilla link doesn't have the gasket he needs. The one he needs is a "square O-Ring" that seals the clutch adjustment cover. I couldn't find one last week when I needed one, so I made my own using a 3D printer. I will make him one if he send me his address.

That square O ring was never offered as a spare part. It came glued to the clutch adjustment cover.
Buy some 2mm rubber sheet off eBay and cut yourself one.

'Impossible' is just a level of difficulty! The only stupid question is the one you didn't ask first!
