NGK Resistor Caps Installation
I recently bought 4 NGK XDO5F caps from a local dealership, and I have no clue how to install them. I was hoping there would be an article about it on here but I have not been able to find one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 76 GL1000

Re: NGK Resistor Caps Installation
The old caps simply unscrew from the plug wires and the new ones are screwed on in their place, fitting the smaller diameter rubber boot to the wire first. the larger rubber fits on the plug end of the cap, to create a waterproof seal round the plug insulator. If you look in the smaller hole in the cap, you will see the screw thread that screws into the plug wire.

Use some WD40 or silicone spray to get them through the rubber spark plug well covers.
