Inverted Forks with Original Front Wheel

Post by jmayhallfb23 »

Good afternoon,

I am rebuilding a 78 gold wing and want to add inverted forks but at the same time I am wanting to keep the original front wheel.

I will be using the brakes from the newer forks but machining new triple tree and disc breaks for the wheel.

Any ideas of forks that will work with the original wheel.

Good luck on that. You would be looking for a bike about the weight of a Goldwing, so not much to choose from. A custom fork builder might have something, but it will be pricey.
