Gl 1000 Rear wheel offset

Post by Triton »

Hi Guys

I'm in the process of rebuilding the rear wheel on my 1975 GL1000 with stainless spokes - and when I took the wheel apart I forgot to measure the offset (hub edge to wheel rim).

I've looked for the offset measurement on here, but with no luck.

Can anyone please let me know the measurement from the hub (either side) to the wheel rim so that I can get the wheel adjusted side to side correctly?

Sorry to be such a duffer! And thanks in advance for any help.

Regards

Rich.

Thanks to Dindong for the link to the info - it's just what I needed!

And thanks also to Rudolph Wolven who made the sketch and yoozek who asked the same question.

Whew... :)
