after market ignition coils
On my GL1000 , I've replaced the points w/ CDI. Now, I'd like to replace the coils with something to match the reliability. Accel has a reasonably priced set, (prt# 140403) and I was wondering if anyone has had experience with these , or could recommend others. Thanks.

Re: after market ignition coils
I just replaced the electronic ignition and the coils with Dynatek . They seem to work good. Had to replace several of the end caps going to the plugs. They are resistive caps with 5 k ohms, so that’s something you might want to check too.

Oh forgot to mention if you replace the coils you’ll have to cut off a couple of inches from the air filter box.

Thanks Wolf.
Air box is not an issue. I have a solo Holley carb.

I have Accel coils on my 76. Installed 10 years ago. Work great, no complaints. Nice hot spark.
