1st time sync attempt

Gents first try at this, ever, new ebay gauge set, looks like i got it right?
Unless anyone sees an issue, really not sure what im looking at to tell the truth, just followed step by step, but it runs xcllnt.

That looks like perfection to me (provided ignition timing is to perfection first). Double-check ignition timing, do the idle mixture adjustments ( on the GL1000 I believe it is simply to tweek the idle mix screws for max RPM), then reset idle to 950 and then check sync one more time. It will not get better than that!

Rolled crank over and double checked timing, it is spot on with test light jig.
Set Idle mix screws to 2.5 turns out on each, engine seemed to like it, idles down to 1000 when i roll off the throttle then after a sec down to 950 i guess that's normal all things considered 79 carbs on 75 long block.
