I need to paint my recently acquired 79 GL1000 one of the original colours to be eligible for collector plates.
Unfortunately the bike was painted a burnt orange, although it looks good it's not a stock colour. I decided upon the Candy Grandeur Blue Special, PB102CS colour.
The problem I have, is that my local automotive paint supply shop doesn't have the formula for this Honda paint code (or any old motorbikes at all). So I'm wondering if anyone knows of an equivalent automotive paint code that would be equal (or close enough) to Candy Grandeur Blue Special?
Equal to paint code: Candy Grandeur Blue Special, PB102CS

If you search here and on Goldwing facts, there have been threads on places to get the Honda paint colors.

It’s my understanding that the old Honda paint codes are impossible to cross reference with modern paint manufacturers. Here are a couple sources for replica paint:

Candy Grandeur Blue is a 3-stage paint.
